My name is Amy Blustein

My career spans major agencies in New York City and Los Angeles, as well as leadership roles across hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and insurers in New England. I spent nearly 20 years at Women & Infants Hospital and Care New England Health System, leading award-winning public relations, internal communications, and marketing campaigns. In 2019 I was named director of Marketing Communications at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, where I led a high-performing team in the development and execution of B2B and B2C marketing programs designed to support the organization’s strategic plan, vision, and annual budget.

In 2025, I launched Blustein Communications Consulting, bringing three decades of strategic insight to clients who need clear, compelling communications.
